Duties - Groom and style pets according to client specifications and breed standards - Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur or feathers - Clip nails, clean ears, and perform other grooming tasks as needed - Assess pets' skin and coat condition and recommend appropriate treatments or products - Provide basic grooming services such as teeth brushing, anal gland expression, and flea/tick treatments - Maintain a clean and organized grooming area Qualifications - Previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field such as veterinary assistant or animal care - Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements - Ability to safely restrain and handle animals of various sizes and temperaments - Familiarity with basic veterinary procedures and animal health care - Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners and understand their grooming preferences - Excellent attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming techniques - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively If you have a passion for working with animals and have experience in pet grooming or a related field, we would love to hear from you.
